Kofi Annan: The exemplary leader

Kofi Annan, the former United Nations secretary-general and Nobel peace prize winner, passed on Saturday at the age of 80. The late diplomat was the first black African to be appointed UN secretary-general, where he served two terms between 1997 and 2006.
