Uganda finalizes research on injectible HIV drug
A new HIV treatment, injected every eight weeks, is supposed to reduce stigma and discrimination in Uganda. The drug could be a breakthrough for all those infected — if African leaders are ready to invest.
Man ‘cured’ of HIV

An HIV-positive man has been ‘cleared’ of the AIDS virus in London. According to doctors, the unnamed person received a bone marrow transplant from an HIV resistant donor and antiretroviral drugs about 19 months ago.
