A hospital in Rome says it has successfully separated two-year-old twins joined above the nape of their necks, after three risky surgeries. The Bambino Gesu (Baby Jesus) Pediatric Hospital says it was the first time in Italy and likely the world -- as such a case has never been cited in medical literature -- that surgeons were able to separate twins joined in such a way, sharing the back of their skull and its venous system.
May the labour of our hero's present never be in vain. We just want to say THANK YOU for your labour of love to all the medical doctors, nurses, cleaners, ambulance drivers, cashiers, delivery men and women, street sweepers, teachers, factory workers, security officials, personal protective equipment makers, lab technicians, charity organizations, religious leaders, journalists, and reporters. You are all heroes!
